Part 4: The God of Possibilities in Human Weakness

Introduction

Man naturally fears weakness, limitation, and insufficiency. Society teaches us to avoid or hide weakness, yet God’s Kingdom operates differently. Weakness becomes the platform for His strength, power, and possibilities.

Paul, despite being an apostle with great revelations, had a “thorn in the flesh.” God’s response was not to remove it, but to demonstrate that His grace and power are most evident in human weakness.

Paradox: God works best when man reaches the end of his resources.

1. Understanding Human Weakness

• Weakness is not always sin; it may indicate limitation, insufficiency, or frailty.
• Scripture confirms human weakness:
  • Psalm 103:14 – “For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.”

Application: Human weakness highlights our dependence on God, inviting His supernatural intervention.
