Anchor Scripture: Jeremiah 32:27 – “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”
Preacher: Min. Eliezer Owoichoya Onah

Introduction
Life often presents us with impossibilities—situations that seem immovable, mountains that defy human logic, and problems beyond our understanding. In these moments, questions arise: “Can this really change?” “Can this situation turn around?”
In Jeremiah 32, Jerusalem was under siege, Israel faced imminent captivity, and Jeremiah was imprisoned for prophesying doom. Yet, in that moment of despair, God revealed Himself as “The God of all flesh”, reminding Jeremiah that His power is not limited by human constraints.
The message is profound: God is not only the God of Israel or a select few; He is the God of all humanity. His authority extends over nations, peoples, and all circumstances.
1. The Identity of the God of All Flesh
God declares: “I am the LORD.”
- Self-existent (Yahweh, I AM): He depends on no one.
- Sovereign over all creation: His dominion includes mankind, nations, rulers, and the earth itself.
Scripture Reference: Psalm 24:1 – “The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.”
Application: No human power, system, or circumstance is beyond God’s control.
2. The Scope of His Dominion
Being God of all flesh means His authority covers:
- Every person: rich, poor, young, old, saved, or unsaved.
- Every nation and tribe: Daniel 4:35 – “He does according to His will in the army of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth.”
- Every situation of life: disease, famine, captivity, death, or any challenge.
Scriptural Examples:
- God opened Sarah’s barren womb (Genesis 21:1–2).
- God delivered Israel from Pharaoh’s hand (Exodus 14:13–14).
- God raised Lazarus from the dead (John 11:43–44).
Key Scripture: Genesis 18:14 – “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”
3. The Assurance of His Power
When God asks, “Is there anything too hard for me?”, He is emphasizing His limitless power, not doubting it.
- Luke 1:37 – “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”
- Job 42:2 – “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.”
Practical Relevance:
- That sickness? God can heal.
- That financial crisis? God can provide.
- That stubborn family situation? God can restore it.
- That unsaved loved one? God can save.
4. Our Response to the God of All Flesh
To align with His power, we must:
- Faith: Believe His Word (Hebrews 11:6).
- Prayer: Call upon Him who rules over all (Jeremiah 33:3).
- Surrender: Trust His sovereignty even when you don’t understand (Proverbs 3:5–6).
- Worship: Acknowledge Him as Lord over every nation, people, and circumstance (Revelation 7:9–10).
Conclusion
Jeremiah 32:27 serves as an eternal reminder: God is the God of all flesh, and nothing is too hard for Him.
Are you facing impossibilities today? Are you weighed down by circumstances that look like the end?
Remember: The God of all flesh is your God. He rules over kings, situations, and impossibilities. Trust Him, and you will witness His hand move mightily in your life.
